ABOUT Blue Water Deliveries
Blue Water Deliveries is led by Terry Vernon, a captain with over 30 years in the marine industry. Terry has skippered superyachts, managed charters, and completed more than 120,000 nautical miles of ocean passages. His background in boatbuilding and practical engineering ensures vessels are kept running smoothly, and his approachable, hands-on style means he’s just as happy to help wash dishes or cook a meal as he is to navigate an ocean crossing.

OUR Journey
Beyond his professional maritime career, Terry is also a two-time world champion windsurfer and brings with him an extensive knowledge of gamefishing. This unique combination of competitive sailing skill and fishing expertise adds another layer of depth to his seamanship and understanding of the ocean. Living aboard his own yacht in Gulf Harbour Marina, which he uses regularly, keeps him closely connected to the lifestyle he promotes. Outside of professional work, he also enjoys wingfoiling, adding yet another dimension to his time on the water
After three decades in the industry, Terry has built a solid network of professional skippers and crew across New Zealand and internationally. While he undertakes most deliveries, skippering, and training personally, he can call on this network whenever required to ensure every client has the right support at the right time.
